Adoptive Families Coalition,Inc. Site includes information on: upcoming meetings, links to adoption resources, questions to ask agencies and lawyers before you start the adoption process
National Adoption Information Clearinghouse Multi-topic site that includes: fact sheets that can be downloaded, large list of adoption resources, large database that you can search for information, adoption statistics, conference calendar, information on adoption searches. Larger publications are available at a fee: Guide to the internet, Guide to State Adoption Laws (lists every state).
Evan B. Donaldson Institute Has a large database on adopiton research and articles. If you would like to look up information on a specific adoption topic this is a great place to look.
Adoptive Families of America National parent group that has information on adoption books, offers a free beginners guide to adoption, and the best monthly adoption magazine printed.
New York State Citizen's Coalition for Children An unbrella organization for adoption and foster parent support groups in NYS. Offers information on NYS adoption laws, subsidy information, transcultural and transracial information.
North American Council of Adoptable Children A national organization that focuses on older child adoption, and transracial adoption. Information is available on subsidies.
Adoption.com Claims to be the largest adoption site on the Internet. Has information on how to start the adoption process, waiting child list, letters to birthparents from prospective adoptive parents, lists of adoption agencies and lawyers, adoption library, daily adoption news, reunion registry, adoption links and chat rooms.
Adopting.org Adopt: Assistance, Information, Support
Very large Internet site. Has information on many aspects of adoption in a library format, adoption in the news, waiting parents, search and reunion information and chat rooms.

Adopting.com Internet Adoption Resources
Says they are the largest adoption Internet site. Site provides information on how to start the adoption process, links to adoption professionals, letters to birthmother from prospective adoptive parents, chats, and waiting children.
