Welcome To The Chautauqua County Foster/Adoptive Parent Association, Inc. and Support Group Web Page.
To give you a little information on our group: we have been a foster parent association for many years. In the year 2000 we received a grant from the "New York State Citizen's Coalition for Children," that helped us expand our group, to also include adoptive parents, and to start, and maintain a support group for our members.
We have built and are maintaining this site for the purpose of helping to educate the general public about fostercare and adoption in our area,and to help in recruitment and retention of quality foster/adoptive homes and families.

At the annual Christmas Party we had our drawing for the 3 winners of our Beef Raffle...Jennifer Pierce and Julie Devericks were both winners of a mixed quarter and Mike Palmieri won the full side of beef.....
Ann McLaughlin won the Christmas Ladder Decoration, and Carol Ann Woodard won the traveling basket. We really had a great time and Shawnee Gailbreth was the main attraction as our auctioneer for the white elephants...Hey Shawnee have you ever considered a new career.......ha

Please join us for fun and support. Our Association Meeting are held the second Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. followed by a dish to pass luncheon at Noon and the support group at 1:00p.m. The third Thursday of each month we have a support group meeting at 6:30 p.m. Our meetings and groups are always held at the Kidder Church on the corner of Cole Avenue and South Main Street in Jamestown, NY
